I've been wanting to sew lately. :) When I saw<a href="http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2012/06/a-ruffled-tote-aka-ellis-church-bag.html"> this ruffled tote</a> over on Ashley's blog I knew I had to make one for my little girl. She Loves bags and needed one just her size to bring to church.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OUrvawdthAU/UAQvfIGwEUI/AAAAAAAADJk/kUVDNOlpU-E/s1600/IMAG0401-1-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OUrvawdthAU/UAQvfIGwEUI/AAAAAAAADJk/kUVDNOlpU-E/s320/IMAG0401-1-1.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had some leftover fabric from a different project and used an old purple shirt for the ruffles. I wish it was more ruffly though.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AXk-GQOwvKc/UAQvc42zoxI/AAAAAAAADJc/nG4cYIBtVWI/s1600/IMAG0399-1-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AXk-GQOwvKc/UAQvc42zoxI/AAAAAAAADJc/nG4cYIBtVWI/s320/IMAG0399-1-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the inside I had some purple duck cloth I collected years ago.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jnA9x7e-HrM/UAQvawC-CWI/AAAAAAAADJU/Yd6t5rBLgJc/s1600/IMAG0397-1-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jnA9x7e-HrM/UAQvawC-CWI/AAAAAAAADJU/Yd6t5rBLgJc/s320/IMAG0397-1-1.jpg" width="315" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was a really simple sew and my daughter loves it. At church her bag was overflowing though. I guess we need to work on how many things a girl needs for just a few hours. :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you want to make one too head on over for the <a href="http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2012/06/a-ruffled-tote-aka-ellis-church-bag.html">full instructions here</a>. I'm also wanting to try to make a little <a href="http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2012/06/turn-a-mens-shirttie-into-tote-aka-little-boy-church-bag.html">boy bag like here</a>. </div>

The other night I made this pizza and had to share the recipe. It was delicious and really easy to make. It tasted just like one from a pizza store and only took about 25 minutes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y0NAebnYyGo/UAA4i5gZ17I/AAAAAAAADH4/SSXfoh5U3_Q/s1600/BBQ+pork+pizza+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y0NAebnYyGo/UAA4i5gZ17I/AAAAAAAADH4/SSXfoh5U3_Q/s400/BBQ+pork+pizza+2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QqWU6TNNE4g/UAA4lZjMmzI/AAAAAAAADIA/lpq1DkL2Hqk/s1600/BBQ+pork+pizza.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QqWU6TNNE4g/UAA4lZjMmzI/AAAAAAAADIA/lpq1DkL2Hqk/s400/BBQ+pork+pizza.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="font-size: large;">Easy Barbecued Pork Pizza</span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 17-18 oz tub barbecue shredded pork ( I used Lloyd's)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 medium red or yellow sweet pepper cut into strips</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 T vegetable oil</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pizza crust ( I used ready made dough)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 C Monterey Jack Cheese</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Step One: Preheat oven to 425. Heat shredded pork according to package directions. Meanwhile in a large skillet cook sweet pepper and onion in hot oil over medium high heat about 5 minutes or until crisp and tender.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Step Two: Place pizza crust on baking sheet. Spoon shredded pork over crust. Spreading evenly. Top with sweet pepper and onion mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake about 12 minutes or until cheese melts and crust edge turns light brown. </div>

This week I've been participating with Elsie Marley's <a href="http://www.elsiemarley.com/">Kids Clothes week challenge</a>. It's been great motivation to get some dresses made for my little girl. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ever since Dana posted about her <a href="http://www.danamadeit.com/2008/07/tutorial-the-shirt-dress.html">shirt dresses</a> I've been wanting to make some. While at the thrift store this past week I found the perfect mens shirt for only $5. I wish I would have taken a before picture but I was too excited to start. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><i>The Shirt Dress</i></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NdI0yf7La6Q/T5we4PRJBTI/AAAAAAAACbg/DZWdG_pucpc/s1600/DSC04794.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NdI0yf7La6Q/T5we4PRJBTI/AAAAAAAACbg/DZWdG_pucpc/s400/DSC04794.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I LOVE it! I decided to use the cuffs from the shirt<a href="http://www.danamadeit.com/2009/04/madame-librarian.html"> as shown here</a>. She doesn't have a tutorial for this kind of sleeve but it was pretty easy to figure out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EN9R3dOB9p0/T5wfCSa3m2I/AAAAAAAACbo/TOrjUoBBK-U/s1600/DSC04795.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EN9R3dOB9p0/T5wfCSa3m2I/AAAAAAAACbo/TOrjUoBBK-U/s400/DSC04795.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the waist I used this fun yellow fabric from my mom's stash. :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JTi3aHrwdOA/T5wfLv_AxdI/AAAAAAAACbw/L1KhDsi5kew/s1600/DSC04800.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JTi3aHrwdOA/T5wfLv_AxdI/AAAAAAAACbw/L1KhDsi5kew/s400/DSC04800.jpg" width="288" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the blue and white with a pop of yellow. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PWZ2-iS69OY/T5wfVtxnBcI/AAAAAAAACb4/RdRc-FKwsAI/s1600/DSC04802.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PWZ2-iS69OY/T5wfVtxnBcI/AAAAAAAACb4/RdRc-FKwsAI/s400/DSC04802.jpg" width="292" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One thing I did a little different was sew along the other side of the buttons. I didn't want to have the sides open while my daughter was playing. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My husband gave me a bunch of his dress shirts this morning to repurpose. :) You might be seeing more of these in the future. ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!</div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-67548621287533840932012-04-26T06:00:00.000-07:002012-04-26T06:00:28.802-07:00Playdate Frock<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I found the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Fabric---Fabric-One-Yard-Wonders-Projects/dp/1603425861/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1335396349&sr=8-2">new One Yard Wonders</a> at my local library. I might like this book better than the first. It has different fabric categories and various patterns in each section :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I loved the dress pattern, "The Playdate Frock."</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RBAMCtGHdV0/T5hqi7GflrI/AAAAAAAACZY/qQUoTLZA9fQ/s1600/DSC04781.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RBAMCtGHdV0/T5hqi7GflrI/AAAAAAAACZY/qQUoTLZA9fQ/s400/DSC04781.jpg" width="210" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BD3bscjY2qQ/T5hskmYlhFI/AAAAAAAACZw/Rps56KK4BCo/s1600/DSC04772.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BD3bscjY2qQ/T5hskmYlhFI/AAAAAAAACZw/Rps56KK4BCo/s320/DSC04772.jpg" width="202" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It fits my daughter perfectly! I am really pleased with how it turned out.<br />
My only issue was the sleeves. It was really hard to figure out. But thanks to my Mom's help I finally mastered those tricky sleeves. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EgTvvdjBYCs/T5hqt8n35dI/AAAAAAAACZg/DSXPAw7jf68/s1600/DSC04785.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EgTvvdjBYCs/T5hqt8n35dI/AAAAAAAACZg/DSXPAw7jf68/s320/DSC04785.jpg" width="268" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KjUMynyu_88/T5hq6I3-J1I/AAAAAAAACZo/NVq_WS89JYE/s1600/DSC04787.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KjUMynyu_88/T5hq6I3-J1I/AAAAAAAACZo/NVq_WS89JYE/s320/DSC04787.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It also has two small pockets on the front. My daughter suggested adding some buttons to the front. I think I"ll do just that. :)<br />

Were you there at the Snap Conference this weekend? Or did you come to the Market? If you remember last week I told you my husband was a vendor. It was such a crazy week trying to get things ready and help out with the display.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BHwFG_RlCek/T5bTFK60I9I/AAAAAAAACYQ/-m7Rwrd-jiA/s1600/DSC04725.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BHwFG_RlCek/T5bTFK60I9I/AAAAAAAACYQ/-m7Rwrd-jiA/s400/DSC04725.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall it was so much fun! It was such a great opportunity for my husbands shop. It was so great to be among so many inspiring women. I saw a lot of ladies from blogs I follow but was too shy to go up and talk to them. I wish I would have. Maybe we will cross paths again someday?</div>
<br />

I decided to go really simple and have lots of color. I really Love it!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xyfNej7kX2I/T47fsXVT27I/AAAAAAAACXA/sLV5X8xuN6I/s1600/DSC04663.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="323" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xyfNej7kX2I/T47fsXVT27I/AAAAAAAACXA/sLV5X8xuN6I/s400/DSC04663.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qYeSSvBR0FQ/T47f9e32EOI/AAAAAAAACXQ/6SYMG-Uj0Cs/s1600/DSC04666.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="233" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qYeSSvBR0FQ/T47f9e32EOI/AAAAAAAACXQ/6SYMG-Uj0Cs/s400/DSC04666.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">My new obsession is banners. :) I went through some of my fabric scraps and picked out some favorites. Then I cut them all the same size and sewed them together. Super easy! A great way to add color and patterns.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SrcbR6GUSqc/T47gE8lYldI/AAAAAAAACXY/fwdsv1mNRLI/s1600/DSC04667.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SrcbR6GUSqc/T47gE8lYldI/AAAAAAAACXY/fwdsv1mNRLI/s400/DSC04667.JPG" width="357" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">I also used some of my husbands vintage books. The Star Raker and Duden. :) I added a blue birdhouse I found while thrifting. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bJn8rAOtNcM/T47gQH61k7I/AAAAAAAACXg/vfWjyldacBQ/s1600/DSC04668.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="313" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bJn8rAOtNcM/T47gQH61k7I/AAAAAAAACXg/vfWjyldacBQ/s400/DSC04668.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This canvas has been sitting empty since Valentines. My Mom printed off the Home sign for me. I decided to just tape it on top of the canvas. I love how the blue ties in with the canvas. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7MP4zcYOzis/T47f1y-sduI/AAAAAAAACXI/AgDiPCGb85E/s1600/DSC04665.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="310" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7MP4zcYOzis/T47f1y-sduI/AAAAAAAACXI/AgDiPCGb85E/s400/DSC04665.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I kept my book decor up as well. I also put up my metal bird I got a few years ago. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Theres my fun, colorful and super simple mantle. It makes me smile :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Just another quick announcement. Have you heard of the Snap Conference going on this weekend? They are also having a <a href="http://www.snaptheconference.com/market/">Queen Bee Market</a> at Thanksgiving Point in Utah. My husband is one of the vendors. :) There are some amazing vendors and the best part is it's FREE to the public. If your in Utah make sure to stop by and say "Hi." <a href="http://www.snaptheconference.com/market/">Here's the link to all the vendors</a> that will be there and here's a link to my husbands shop, <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetoldstuff">Sweet Old Stuff</a>. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I finally finished it this weekend! :) I used <a href="http://sewinpeace.blogspot.com/2011/09/modern-i-spy-tutorial.html">Sandra's Tutorial </a> from Sew In Peace. Overall it was easy to put together and I love the end result. It's different than the other two I've made seen <a href="http://justenoughstyle.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-spy-quilt-finished.html">here</a> and <a href="http://justenoughstyle.blogspot.com/2011/09/i-spy-quilt-2.html">here</a>. </div><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I'm sure most of us has seen this image floating around on Pinterest. Pretty huh? </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I liked the finished look better and found it easier to work with. It was tricky for me to get all the shirt tied but it gets better with more practice. Good luck and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!<br />

I've sewed a few pants for my son and finally decided to tackle a shirt. It took lots of thinking and trial and error but I am pretty pleased with myself. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Any ideas? I used rib knitting around the neck for the first time ever! Do you need to stretch it and then pin? Or maybe it was how I traced out the pattern? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. :)</div><br />

I've been wanting to make these for a Long time! It was really easy and very addicting. :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-psxsbsdc0UA/Tz6-SfojJNI/AAAAAAAACG0/o4FrtwCVv40/s1600/February+125.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="201" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-psxsbsdc0UA/Tz6-SfojJNI/AAAAAAAACG0/o4FrtwCVv40/s400/February+125.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> I had my 3 year old daughter help pick out fabric and buttons for the center. I thought adding a button just added cuteness but you really could leave them plain. </div><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aZrlNxDhqL0/Tz6-nGGNouI/AAAAAAAACHM/gRVq1cklXsA/s1600/February+130.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aZrlNxDhqL0/Tz6-nGGNouI/AAAAAAAACHM/gRVq1cklXsA/s320/February+130.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I'm not really sure why mine look all smooshy. But they are cute anyway. I guess I just need to practice. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-d8kj8-sRbDQ/Tz6-ZxC0I6I/AAAAAAAACG8/I04OftVNgdE/s1600/February+128.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="202" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-d8kj8-sRbDQ/Tz6-ZxC0I6I/AAAAAAAACG8/I04OftVNgdE/s320/February+128.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>When I was all done I just hot glued bobby pins and hair clips to the back. Easy peasy and very satisfying.<br />

Tutorial Tuesdays- where I share something I have made during the week.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Remember this picture that I showed you on Saturday? I turned two old sweaters and a straw wreath into.....</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u72wh-Twp5I/TxTzf9ZYYAI/AAAAAAAACCo/xx_v0n6vhlM/s1600/DSC03443.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="382" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-u72wh-Twp5I/TxTzf9ZYYAI/AAAAAAAACCo/xx_v0n6vhlM/s400/DSC03443.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This beautiful wreath!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jhH7XUiUqVs/TxTyrxQuRdI/AAAAAAAACCA/vjBi8Zx34tw/s1600/DSC03473.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jhH7XUiUqVs/TxTyrxQuRdI/AAAAAAAACCA/vjBi8Zx34tw/s400/DSC03473.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> Here's how I did it. I cut up the sweaters along the seams in the bodice and the arms. Leaving me with two bodice pieces and two arm pieces. </span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T1E8i-EAFdU/TxTzC6arT8I/AAAAAAAACCY/9BUjTYh5PBU/s1600/DSC03446.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="277" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T1E8i-EAFdU/TxTzC6arT8I/AAAAAAAACCY/9BUjTYh5PBU/s400/DSC03446.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Then I started cutting circles, and cutting, and cutting. Until I had used up every bit of fabric.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yapeuuFA7IA/TxTzK7OKeJI/AAAAAAAACCg/zcEZl1wMqnU/s1600/DSC03447.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="251" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yapeuuFA7IA/TxTzK7OKeJI/AAAAAAAACCg/zcEZl1wMqnU/s400/DSC03447.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Next I just folded the circle in half, then in half again and put a pin at the end and stuck it in the wreath. I wanted to have a striped effect in the pink and red but you could do any pattern.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nsW8stcAX5Y/TxTyulrCvKI/AAAAAAAACCI/pa7-4AKET4s/s1600/DSC03476.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nsW8stcAX5Y/TxTyulrCvKI/AAAAAAAACCI/pa7-4AKET4s/s400/DSC03476.jpg" width="225" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">After folding and pinning and more folding and pinning I finally finished. Phew! </span><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2SLLFp8coP0/TxTyx5MpsRI/AAAAAAAACCQ/3AXPKl7WQOc/s1600/DSC03479.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2SLLFp8coP0/TxTyx5MpsRI/AAAAAAAACCQ/3AXPKl7WQOc/s400/DSC03479.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. It was really simple to make just time consuming. In total this project cost me about $10. I love having it up on my mantle where I can admire it during the day. </span></div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-16396976201007369262012-01-14T13:37:00.000-08:002012-01-14T13:37:29.954-08:00Thrifty Saturday Finds<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I thought it would be fun to share some of my thrift store finds on Saturdays. Here is what I found today.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s16tEEscSig/TxHzoEFhdkI/AAAAAAAACBw/NahDKHdFPmk/s1600/DSC03440.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="285" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s16tEEscSig/TxHzoEFhdkI/AAAAAAAACBw/NahDKHdFPmk/s320/DSC03440.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> I love finding children's books at the thrift store. All of these are in almost perfect condition. I got all 7 books for $5.25 :)</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JS7EitN3O0Q/TxHzwGY231I/AAAAAAAACB4/NeTd_VFXowI/s1600/DSC03443.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="306" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JS7EitN3O0Q/TxHzwGY231I/AAAAAAAACB4/NeTd_VFXowI/s320/DSC03443.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I've had the heart straw wreath for a while now which I got for one dollar. :) I also snatched up the red and pink sweater today for 3 bucks each. I have a project for these three objects that I hope to share with you soon. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Total: $11.25</div><div style="text-align: center;">What are some great finds you've found lately?</div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-52441479682232656652012-01-12T14:37:00.000-08:002012-01-12T14:37:03.185-08:00The Moby Wrap: My way<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">This picture was taken about a year ago. When I had my little boy. He was so small that I couldn't use a carrier to put him in. One of my friends was using a Moby Wrap she made and shared her genius secret with me. So I thought I would share it with you as well. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Just head to the craft store and buy 6 yards of any color of jersey knit fabric. If you want you can cut in half and use 3 yards for one and another to give away to a friend. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Then just go <a href="http://www.mobywrap.com/instructionpages.aspx?Topic=instructionvideos">here to the Moby Wrap </a>website and watch the instructional videos. It shows you how to correctly tie and use the wrap.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Here's mine:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oMHYRDctkUc/Tw9eMkofhLI/AAAAAAAACBo/m-Svt_DsVBM/s1600/DSC07821.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oMHYRDctkUc/Tw9eMkofhLI/AAAAAAAACBo/m-Svt_DsVBM/s320/DSC07821.jpg" width="180" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">It was so great to have my little guy close and my hands free to do other things. It was definitely a lifesaver for the first six months. </div><div style="text-align: center;">You could easily do this for under $20 especially if you used a coupon for Joann's or Hobby Lobby. </div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-76152191540177135082011-12-22T10:08:00.000-08:002011-12-22T10:08:19.845-08:00Hand Puppets<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I've been debating whether I should make some hand puppets for my daughter. But I've been slacking on crafting. I just haven't had any time or motivation to sew. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">A few weeks ago while at D.I. I was over looking at the toys. I glanced over by the stuffed animals and thought I would start sifting through them. That's when I hit the JACKPOT!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I found 11 hand puppets! They are in like new condition and cost me only 50 cents each. You can imagine my excitement with each puppet found. I was like a kid in a candy store. :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<div style="text-align: center;"> I found 2 princess puppets, a mermaid (which my daughter has been asking for) and a rockstar.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Bnc2dHrN3AA/TvNmQ8NI0SI/AAAAAAAACBM/j1_Gmx6ckM8/s1600/DSC02973.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="238" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Bnc2dHrN3AA/TvNmQ8NI0SI/AAAAAAAACBM/j1_Gmx6ckM8/s400/DSC02973.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I loved how detailed they were. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

But I know my daughter will claim them as her own. :) After a quick wash in the washer they are wrapped and ready for Christmas. One less thing I need to worry about making. :)</div><div style="text-align: center;">Have you found any treasures at the thrift store lately?</div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-7490815549812363132011-12-17T08:21:00.000-08:002011-12-17T08:23:32.175-08:00Puppet Theater in 5 minutes<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My daughter loves puppet shows right now. Our library does puppet shows for storytime, maybe that's where she got her love for it. She's been asking for one for quite sometime now. I finally broke down and made one. It took about 5 minutes.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lvtpSRBJRTs/Tuy-0akG3DI/AAAAAAAACAA/Q-DzDR3wbFU/s1600/DSC02734.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lvtpSRBJRTs/Tuy-0akG3DI/AAAAAAAACAA/Q-DzDR3wbFU/s320/DSC02734.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Here's what I did. I already had the blue flower fabric made into drapes. We used them when we lived in a different house but they've been sitting in a box. I also had some leftover drapes from Ikea and quickly sewed a casing for the rod and voila! A super easy and cute puppet theater.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wqREaCl7pio/Tuy-_3qZxkI/AAAAAAAACAI/E3gW5ZUUZ5c/s1600/DSC02735.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wqREaCl7pio/Tuy-_3qZxkI/AAAAAAAACAI/E3gW5ZUUZ5c/s320/DSC02735.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">We spent all afternoon doing puppet shows. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R34oYJvtcfA/Tuy_LhuBPfI/AAAAAAAACAQ/5wAu063jGpE/s1600/DSC02739.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R34oYJvtcfA/Tuy_LhuBPfI/AAAAAAAACAQ/5wAu063jGpE/s320/DSC02739.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">She doesn't quite get the idea that we shouldn't see you, just the puppets. Maybe with more practice?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-w-iaGI1anW4/Tuy_Vjw7wvI/AAAAAAAACAY/1ouxGYbQpZo/s1600/DSC02742.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-w-iaGI1anW4/Tuy_Vjw7wvI/AAAAAAAACAY/1ouxGYbQpZo/s320/DSC02742.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">We just put it up the the doorway when we want to play and then put it back in the closet when we are done. I also scored a bunch of cute hand puppets at D.I. last week that my kids will be getting for Christmas. I will try and post pictures of them soon. </div><div style="text-align: center;">How are your projects coming along?</div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-71665158403362826722011-11-22T16:23:00.000-08:002011-11-22T16:23:19.138-08:00Book Page Decor Tutorial<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Every time I got to my Sister in laws I always notice these cute book page decorations. Last time I as over I finally asked her how to make them. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Just in case you want to make some too I made a quick tutorial. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><i><b>Book Page Tutorial</b></i></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AWlkDs1CXLY/Tsw42aHfhFI/AAAAAAAAB-Q/nJg--zigMt0/s1600/DSC02575.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AWlkDs1CXLY/Tsw42aHfhFI/AAAAAAAAB-Q/nJg--zigMt0/s320/DSC02575.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Supplies: A paperback book ( I just used one I had lying around the house no one reads)</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Scissors</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Glue Gun</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KWQVNDlEHaI/Tsw3dEXv5KI/AAAAAAAAB9I/La29hfgxydo/s1600/DSC02561.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KWQVNDlEHaI/Tsw3dEXv5KI/AAAAAAAAB9I/La29hfgxydo/s320/DSC02561.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now, let's get started! Use your scissors and cut off the books covers.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1ykzyAAlG10/Tsw3pBRgDQI/AAAAAAAAB9Q/8y0wYZKjNUQ/s1600/DSC02562.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1ykzyAAlG10/Tsw3pBRgDQI/AAAAAAAAB9Q/8y0wYZKjNUQ/s320/DSC02562.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Then you take a few pages in your hand....</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oiV4I_CSBhU/Tsw3xKgRv8I/AAAAAAAAB9Y/G4fxQ9SHF80/s1600/DSC02563.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="313" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oiV4I_CSBhU/Tsw3xKgRv8I/AAAAAAAAB9Y/G4fxQ9SHF80/s320/DSC02563.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">and fold them over. Repeat.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5BaimUZ9bCQ/Tsw34wBc_LI/AAAAAAAAB9g/qPAN3pN-riU/s1600/DSC02564.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5BaimUZ9bCQ/Tsw34wBc_LI/AAAAAAAAB9g/qPAN3pN-riU/s320/DSC02564.JPG" width="314" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The pages will get really poufy. Just smash them a bit with your fingers. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2BNTg6HbQqo/Tsw4Loy9eMI/AAAAAAAAB9w/MzCQZOqzK6s/s1600/DSC02568.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2BNTg6HbQqo/Tsw4Loy9eMI/AAAAAAAAB9w/MzCQZOqzK6s/s320/DSC02568.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Like so.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qBNbg2qLOpk/Tsw4B1Ir3GI/AAAAAAAAB9o/54BPCKY-L-Y/s1600/DSC02567.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qBNbg2qLOpk/Tsw4B1Ir3GI/AAAAAAAAB9o/54BPCKY-L-Y/s320/DSC02567.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Keep folding and squashing until you've finished with all of the pages. It will look like this when you are finished.</span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JQB1x6CpnIo/Tsw4VQS0EUI/AAAAAAAAB94/BhYn6wB6u8A/s1600/DSC02570.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JQB1x6CpnIo/Tsw4VQS0EUI/AAAAAAAAB94/BhYn6wB6u8A/s320/DSC02570.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Just use a bit of hot glue along one the end pages and glue them together. Then do some more smashing, moving, and fixing until you get it how you would like.</span> </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S9BW2LZMCnE/Tsw4dw5kLaI/AAAAAAAAB-A/42IfSNYWEzg/s1600/DSC02572.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="306" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-S9BW2LZMCnE/Tsw4dw5kLaI/AAAAAAAAB-A/42IfSNYWEzg/s320/DSC02572.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Voila! You are done. Super easy and really quite cute. You could also tie some festive ribbon around them. I just didn't have any on hand. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-U4YiG4D6pFQ/Tsw4qEDTvJI/AAAAAAAAB-I/g9uHs0dUgWg/s1600/DSC02574.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-U4YiG4D6pFQ/Tsw4qEDTvJI/AAAAAAAAB-I/g9uHs0dUgWg/s320/DSC02574.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now go and find a book and get started. You'll be glad you did. :)</span></div>Jessicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16665758046530904064noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5775557139136243797.post-30839726976856652852011-11-17T10:16:00.000-08:002011-11-22T09:27:29.288-08:00Name Quiet Book<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Yesterday was my Nephew's 2nd Birthday. I wasn't sure what to get him but after talking with a crafty friend about it I decided to make a Quiet book. I really enjoyed making this book. Maybe a bit too much. lol</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B6Z-ys51WwQ/TsVMfxDrTBI/AAAAAAAAB8o/_4yCV_036oY/s1600/pokeybot+004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B6Z-ys51WwQ/TsVMfxDrTBI/AAAAAAAAB8o/_4yCV_036oY/s400/pokeybot+004.jpg" width="370" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For the cover I simply cut out his name in felt, ironed on some adhesive and then ironed it on the cover. I used<a href="http://lellaboutique.blogspot.com/2011/04/baby-boy-texture-book.html"> this tutorial</a> for the pages and book.</span></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Uf3jDXPftro/TsVMnJJULHI/AAAAAAAAB8w/p5L2Hd3bkFA/s1600/pokeybot+006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="241" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Uf3jDXPftro/TsVMnJJULHI/AAAAAAAAB8w/p5L2Hd3bkFA/s400/pokeybot+006.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For K I decided upon a Kangaroo and an Owl for O.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-r_eIlUTxBok/TsVMsjNg_lI/AAAAAAAAB84/L8NBTVgN2-0/s1600/pokeybot+007.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="183" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-r_eIlUTxBok/TsVMsjNg_lI/AAAAAAAAB84/L8NBTVgN2-0/s400/pokeybot+007.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I found a coloring page on google and used that for the kangaroo. For the owl I got the idea <a href="http://www.imagineourlife.com/2011/09/16/forest-quiet-book-page/">here</a>. She has so many amazing quiet book pages! You need to check it out.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FtUf0ftKTzQ/TsVMzK5PpxI/AAAAAAAAB9A/ULmH7L9LQh8/s1600/pokeybot+008.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="233" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FtUf0ftKTzQ/TsVMzK5PpxI/AAAAAAAAB9A/ULmH7L9LQh8/s400/pokeybot+008.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For D I just had to make a dinosaur. <a href="http://www.imagineourlife.com/2011/10/05/dinosaur-quiet-book-page/">Inspiration found here</a>. Then for A I found a image on google for the Airplane.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O4MWJ8EvT6g/TsVMaTIgvJI/AAAAAAAAB8g/MpP3xwWazUw/s1600/pokeybot+001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="215" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O4MWJ8EvT6g/TsVMaTIgvJI/AAAAAAAAB8g/MpP3xwWazUw/s400/pokeybot+001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The dinosaur might be one of my favorites. While sewing my husband came in and declared he wanted one on his backpack. lol</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZlEUPnhfzp4/TsVMVeXOA1I/AAAAAAAAB8Y/w55yAI5Mdn4/s1600/pokeybot+012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="358" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZlEUPnhfzp4/TsVMVeXOA1I/AAAAAAAAB8Y/w55yAI5Mdn4/s400/pokeybot+012.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For the wrapping I used simple white packaging paper and tied it up with a scrap of fabric. I hope the birthday boy will love it as much as I loved making it. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />
