Birthday Banner

My daughter will be 2 next week. To celebrate I made her this Happy Birthday banner using this tutorial from Pick Up Some Creativity.

Instead of using bias tape I just used some ribbon.

For the letters and cupcake I used felt instead of fabric.

Overall I really like how it turned out. Don't you?

  3. I LOVE this! And the part I think is the best is the possibility of having it become a family tradition...you know, like something that the kids expect to see every year at their birthdays...we had a birthday crown...LOVED IT.

  5. The banner is darling. I want to make one too, but mine might be out of paper instead, I have lots more of that, the paper just won't last so long. Thank you for sharing your creativity!
