Springtime Art

I decided to make some more springtime decorations. I got out my handy Silhouette and used the free download for the week.

I thought it needed a bit more so I spelled out Springtime. I really love how it turned out and I didn't have to cut out anything. Which is great because if you know me well you know I can't cut. :) I would get docked points in Interior Design school for not having straight lines on my projects.
Here's to hoping for warmer weather soon.

Flower Button Cards

After having a baby I've been writing lots of Thank You cards. Instead of spending money to buy some from the store I decided to make my own. I found this cute flower stem template from How about Orange and decided it was time to make some Flower Button Cards. I raided my button stash, got some glue and viola! Done.

Here's a few of my favorites
I decided to do different shades of colors

I really like the blue and greens together

My daughter also helped out. So there are a few of just random buttons. :)
I've also thought that you could write underneath the stems Thank you or get well or even happy birthday. I just love how fun and different these cards are.
Thanks to Jess from Craftiness is not optional for finding the link. :) If you'd like to make your own button cards you can find the pattern here.
